Where have all my friends gone? Do you delete inactive ones?

I know this question has come around a few times but I am about to change my mind on my past thinking. I always thought I would keep my friends on eve if they werent inactive but I find that it takes up alot of time going through my friends list to find out if they been active or not. Thats time I coudl spend replying to my friends who are actually active in my opinion. I feel like it would be rude to delete them after all they might be back. But on the other hand none of them said they were taking a break so maybe they are really gone for good. It makes for a waste of time where I coudl be using that time to reply to my friends subjects who are active. I also wish mylot would change it so when you click on discussions my friends started it would show the most recent ones they started and not whats been replied to most recently. It makes it hard to keep up with new subjects.

The only time I delete anyone is if they have been inactive for over a good while like over 6 months or longer or if they are trouble makers then yes I have deleted them then.

Well I havent had anyone who has been a pain in the rear on my friend list everyone so far is considerate even if they have varying views.

2 months sounds like a good number to go with like red said above I think there is a large number of people who stay for their first payout or so and thats that.

I have notice a lot of my friends disappearing also. I delete them if no activity in 60 days. I agree with you on Mylot not showing recent posting they should show the recent posting with or without responses.

I'm still here sometimes. So don't delete me. We only have a couple of months of decent weather around here. So a lot of my time right now is spent outside working around our property. And in about two weeks soccer season will start for my kids so I will have even less time to be online.

I am not talking about those of us who have lives I am talking about those people that just seem to stick around long enough to get the first payout and you never see them for months. I only deleted those who had been gone 3-4 months. I think its a safe bet that they arent coming back by now.

I am not surprise if I am being deleted from your list as I have to be away most days of the month without being able to surf the net. My inactivity do not mean that I have left for good as I am here to stay with mylot as long as it remains operational.

I have so many friends on here as it is, I guess if I found any who were no longer active I could bare to see them part ways.

The thing is alot of people dont stay. Alot of them quit after they got there first payout. I realise alot of people think they should make mroe on here but its not really something you can make a living off of its a penny or two for your two cents and thats about it.

Yes, I delete inactive friends. I don't do this very often, but it similar to housekeeping. You can it put if off for a long time, but eventually it needs to be done. As to where have all the friends gone? It looks to me like there is an average time limit that most people stay at mylot. When that time is up, most of your friends become inactive. Therefore, if you made most of your friends at any particular time, you will lose most of your friends almost all at once. The answer is to keep continuely making new friend requests so you have active friends all the time.

I think you got that theory right it seems like almost all my friends went inactive within the same couple months. Since I depend on friends to keep the subject matters going ti kind of gave me less material I really wanted to talk about.

Well everything you just said is the reason I delete mine. The way I figured it, either they will hook up with me again when they come back, Lord knows I am all over this board, or they will find me and say something. When school starts my time will be shorter than now, I want to keep up with everyone I can, so I can't waste time on those that are not active, you know?

Ya I guess I am just being kinda foolish by not clearing out the old inactive ones I think I have about 1-2 people on my first page that have been online in the past 2 months.

nope, i don't delete my inactive friends. i rarely go thru my friends list because i don't have much time to spend on mylot, unfortunately T_T ..our lives don't revolve around mylot only and we have other things to do as well, so we might not be able to go on mylot to respond to discussions and stuff. so i just leave my friends list as it is ;)

I am always afraid to delete a frind who is inactive. Just the time I delete them, they might have a great discussion and I would miss it. So far I have not deleted any one. I have thought about deleting friends, but then I think it over and then I don't. I have been deleted off my friends list before. I know this because my friends number goes down from time to time. I sometimes have a hard time comming up with origional material. anyway, I don't delete my inactive friends. Peace, Totty

thanks for the reply. I must admit I thought the same thing but like the reply above chances are if they havent been on in 2 months than they might not be coming back.

I never delete any friends from my list. In fact, I don't run through the list to find out who is active and who is not. My list is only building, so I welcome more people on my list. Interestingly though, my sponsor is inactive in myLot. From what I see, she has zero posts, which makes me wonder why she signed up here in the first place.

wonder if she still receives anything from referals even if she isnt on anymore. I have only had one referal and they never posted anything.
