I have this model but I do not have the remote control and I don't want to buy the one for it. It's as much as a new VCR. I am using an all in one universal remote control, but there is no function to change it from SP to EP. It is stuck on SP now, so I am only getting 2 hours out of a tape instead of 6 hours. Does anyone know how to change this without a remote control? I can put in a 6 hour tape and it will play for 6 hour and it switches to EP while the tape is in, but when I remove it, it goes back to SP. thank you. my email is jwjwmarcum@hotmail.com
