Malls here in the Philippines are now starting to use waterless urinals, mostly used in men's comfort rooms. I believe that this a good way to save water, as one urinal can conserve hundreds of liters of water a day.
The urinal is also said to be nature-friendly, as it filters all harmful chemicals/human waste and has it's own water treatment system.
This is really good news to hear, with the sudden climate changes. the El Niño phenomenon and the La Niña, we all have to give our share to every possible help we could provide for mother earth!;)

what? you have a point of saying that we can conserve water friend but it also mean that the urinals will stinks. that is what i have observed with this urinals when i go to malls say s.m, or food chain such as mc do or jolibee . this automated urinals flush themselves automatically and because of the little amount of water use to flush it the stinks never get off. i guess its because it was not urinated not once but several times and not properly flushed due to water conservation. hehehe. so i guess we get to save water from this urinals better than the urinals get stink.
