Every once in awhile you come across a story about some person who may have had some horrible accident or even disease, and despite the dire prognosis, somehow through the power of the mind. One such person, is Morris Goodman, frequently known as The Miracle Man. You may not have heard of him, but he is featured in the DVD of The Secret.
Back in 1980, he was flying his private plane, and as you can guess, it crashed. He was rescued and hospitalized, but his condition was so horrific, that it was thought he be nothing more than a vegetable for the rest of his life. His spine was crushed, his lungs were mangled he couldn't breathe on his own, and had tubes in his lungs and was hooked up to a respirator. His diagnosis was that he'd never breathe, talk or walk ever again in his life. The only thing he could do was blink his eyes--and yet, while blinking his eyes at the letters the nurses and docs would point to, "told" them that he'd be out of the hospital and walking on his own by that coming Christmas.
Well, as you can guess, through the power of his mind, he did indeed recover fully and did walk out of the hospital of his own accord...His belief was, that as long as you had your mind, you could heal yourself, and he is proof positive that it can be done. His now wife, Cathy Goodman is also featured in the DVD The Secret. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer and within three months of her diagnosis, she too was completely healed and without chemo or radiation...She kept telling herself, "Thank you for my healing" and kept her mind one-hundred percent positive.
Now, complete healing CAN take place..we do so often hear of these "miracles" of healing...but is it really a miracle? We all have that capability to do fantastic things just by the power of our minds --Now I know that a lot of us out there have medical problems....do you think you have what it takes to "miraculously" heal yourself, and if not one-hundred percent, at least to a degree where you may not be in as much pain or whatever it is that is wrong.
Here is the link to the Morris Goodman website, and be sure to click the part labeled "Watch Movie" as it is a re-inactment of Goodman's story (the version on The Secret DVD is better)--it's very inspiring.

That's the thing. This power is available to anyone. It is no miricle, but rather the use of the law of attraction or intention. That of intending or attracting health to yourself. Why would such a "miracle" happen for some and not others? There are no favorites in the grand scheme of things. It is simply mind power and a thought process that can attract that which you desire. And I know that you already know this to be true. But many do not know or understand.

Yes the Law Of Attraction is available to each and everyone of us, we just all have to know how to use it better

That is truely a mircle that he walked out of that hospital. I due believe in mircles. And yes the mind is a very powerful tool indeed. We just have to know how to operate it. Being of strong mind and faith can bring us out of anything. I do believe that. Now for myself I only hope I would have such strength.

That's the real key isn't it? To have the same kind of strength Goodman had--right?

Shortly after being diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, I gave up work and the symptoms slowly eased away. But there was a condition in my right hand that remained. I would get severe pain around my inner wrist area and thumb. It would happen at various times and using that hand was sometimes very painful, even for just brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, washing myself, doing the dishes. But I could use a can opener and a knife and there was no trouble with driving or carrying things. Ironing would set off the pain and over a period of time pushing the mower or using other power tools outside would become painful and I'd have to stop. I paid a lot of money for a steel reinforced glove but it didn't help. The pain was getting worse, happening more often and now there was swelling and redness and it's been over a year. I began to say "thankyou for my healing " after watching "The Secret" and my hand is no longer sore and painful. I still get minor twinges here and there but otherwise the condition has eased right off. It was annoying me for over a year. I wouldn't have thought I could do this ...but I've done it. I also said "thank you for my good fortune" and I'm finding money. I asked for a man too and I've met someone but I don't know where it's going yet. This works people...it's true.

Wow---wonderful story here MsTickle...I've had bouts of carpel tunnel as well, so I know exactly how painful it can be....every once in awhile, I too will still get a twinge but nothing as drastic as it used to be..It used to be so frustrating since trying to do the simplest of chores I just couldn't do..but I did the same thing and did the "thank you for my healing"--do now it's like I might get a slight twinge of it, but will only last a few hours, instead of days---mmmm...one of my sayings for money is "I'm a money magnet...money comes to me" Maybe that can explain my successes in getting my articles published, no? And wow...you've met someone?? Mmmm...when the wedding...LOL

The Goodman's story is indeed miraculous, pyewacket. I learned a long time ago that the body has an amazing ability to heal itself. I am sure that this takes a deep belief and faith to accomplish this. I think that I would have been gone long ago were it not for my faith, but there is one physical problem that I have not been able to overcome so far. Maybe I should redouble my efforts in the hope that I can succeed. You do have to believe!

Yes one does have to believe an awful lot...seems Goodman had a really strong power of the mind and willpower to overcome his serious accident

I consider the mind the third unexplored area of the universe. The sea and space being the other two of course. There is a great deal we don't know about ourselves yet and I'm not sure we will ever know. Not enough people are willing to learn about their inner strengths, it is a lot easier to just take what life has to offer you instead of working at changing things.

I think the power of the mind is truly the "last frontier" to be really explored to understand it...supposedly we only use about 10-percent of our brain power..yikes wonder what would happen if we used 100-percent!
