You like fast? Try Opera, why don't you? As Gizmo says, "It's a speed demon." Opera is also one of the most secure browsers around, even more so than Firefox (actually, a good deal more so).

Opera is another web browser. It is known for being the fastest of all browsers, and may also be the most secure. I've already looked up statistics on Opera and Firefox, so I can tell you for sure that Opera is the safer of the two. I've pasted three links for you. They go to the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions, respectively: http://www.opera.com/ http://www.opera.com/products/desktop/index.dml?platform=mac http://www.opera.com/download/index.dml?platform=linux Hope this helps!

I will have to agree with you. I am using Firefox and it has made my jobs on the internet very smooth. I can browse quickly and easily. I can open many tabs and close only the tabs that I want without interrupting the others. I can switch from one tab to another also very easily and quickly. I love using Firefox and will never go back to use Internet Explorer.

firefox - mozila firefox
i'm using firefox as well. i started using firefox because of the tabbed browsing, and i didn't want to open so many IE windows and have it cluttered on my windows taskbar. although now IE7 has tabbed browsing, i'm still sticking to using firefox:)

ever since i got introduced to open source internet and tools, i decided to switch to firefox including other things related to it. i even have my PC in dual boot - the other boot is in Ubuntu. Firefox is way stronger in virus protection and obviously safer to use while roaming around the web. way far secure than ie.

If you like to rely on your browser for security, you might look into Opera. It's as much more secure than Firefox as Firefox is than IE. The greatest number of vulnerabilities found in Opera within any given year was 22. Ironically, 22 happens to be the lowest number of vulnerabilities found in Firefox in any given year. A total of 255 vulnerabilities have been found in Firefox since 2004. Opera has only yielded 56 vulnerabilities since 1998!!!

it depends on your needs actually ,because in opera one can also browse Mobile wap sites , ok now imagine you have F1 car, (Lamborghini , or any other high end car) so you will need an empty road to drive them with full speed , and in same way exactly happens with internet so browser's speed doesn't matter that much ,you must have a good internet connection ,
