Anyone has a craft website plus have a Etsy Store

I am just curious to find out if anyone has a Etsy Store plus a Craft Website. If you do, what is the reasoning behind having both. I have a Etsy Store which I listed one thing and never continue adding stuff. I was thinking it is so much competition at Etsy that I am not sure it's worth it. What are your thoughts on this?

I have my own private website to display all my art work. It is my business. I do not know what Etsy Stores are. If it is costing you, it isn't worth it unless you are making a profit from the site.
