I work at home now. It doesn't bring in much money, but it means that I get to spend more time with my son, so it is well worth it. I hated taking him to a babysitter, because I didn't know for sure everything that went on there. I love being the one to hear my son say new words first and knowing that I get to decide what he eats everyday and what he gets to play with.
As for coworkers, I really don't talk to my coworkers, only my supervising editor. He's really nice and I like him a lot.
When I was working outside of my home, I didn't like it. The money was a lot better, but it wasn't worth it to put my son in daycare and work with people I didn't like. My whole family is happier now than we were then, even though we don't have much extra money now.

How old is Elliott? How many children do you have? I think it's wonderful that you stay home with Elliott..Especially with so many instances of child abduction and abuse..By those who are suppose to care for the little ones.

His name is Elliott, and as of right now, I have every intention of staying home with my kids until the last one starts school at least. We may even decide then that I should continue to stay home, so I'm there when they get home from school and everything.

My job is a Stay At Home Mom. Not by choice. I love my kids but feel I would appreciate them more and vice versa if we spent a little bit of time apart. My job is a 24 hour one. I am not complaining. But I do admit to clock watching to when my husband will get home.

They say: "A woman's work is never done" ..I think every looks forward to their spouse coming home..and the clock reminds us they are still away.

My job is pretty SWEET!!! I am a writer, and I set my own hours. I love my computer, and I can spend days at a time sitting infront of it. I write what comes to mind, and see who will pay me for it. Even MyLot counts as a small percentage of my income. Hey, money's money.

I hate my job - I only do it because it pays the bills
I am an office administrator for an "alternative to custody" project that supervises 13-18 year old juvenile offenders.
I tolerate my co-workers but they resent the fact that my job keeps tabs on them so much.
I have to check their attendance and timekeeping and i hold the purse strings.

Sorry to hear that but you know this is a great spot to let out the steam..
13-18 year olds often times are hard to manage..It's not like when I was growing up when teenagers had respect for their elders.
