When you come into extra $$$, what do you do with it?

I just celebrated my birthday and ended up getting some extra money from both my parents and grandmother. I will probably split it into thirds: 1/3 for bills, 1/3 for investing, and 1/3 for fun stuff. When you find yourself with extra money, what do you do with it? Be responsible and put it towards bills or pamper yourself and buy something you've been wanting for a long time?

Depends on how much extra- I usually sock it away into the vacation fund- that is fun stuff- sometimes I'll buy clothes for my daughter- or extra groceries-

The amount definitely plays a part in what I decide to do with any extra money. Anything under a certain amount (normally $100), gets put directly towards bills.

First and foremost, happy birthday to you even though there without cake & lighting candles. Me?...I split into 4 parts. A quarter to the respective; saving, billings, f&b, mine.
