Do you think its essential for good health to take a vitamin suppliment? I do but wonder if they really do any good. Any thoughts?

It is true but having a wholesome diet all the time without fail, [when you cook all your meals] may not be really possible. For convenience's sake we resort to simple preparations[that may be just carbohydrates with not too much of protein or vitamins, rarely though..]I have also heard that vitamin intake is a bit of myth but I tend to disbelieve it and do feel that when doctors recommend calcium intake or vitamin E for middleaged women there obviously must be some truth in this. After all what is wrong in supplements? I have seen this working in the case of mouth ulcers.

Yes in some cases it is good. I don't eat the recommended amounts everyday. I really don't eat that much and feel if I did eat everything they say you should that I would blow up from over eating!

Dear jillhill, I work every day more than 14 hours. Some days I feel so tired in the office. Next day I will take vitamin in order to kill my tiredness. I have been practicing this method for a long time. Of course it does good to health. Sometime I used to consume vitamin tablets for a month together in order to keep myself healthy.

If it helps you then you should do whatever makes you feel good!
