Some of us just go inwards and retreat within ourselves..sometimes we like to take off and go on a holiday. After a very difficulkt two weeks I decided to go to my Parent's place in Corby for a week or so tore charge..The house was empty andf quiet and I could dowith the rest. Now I have come back fully chared and rearing to go. Where do you like to re charge your batteries?

First, congratuliatons to you who already come back fully recharge :). I know just one place where I'll be if I need to recharge mine. It's at the beach. I love going to a beach early in the morning. It's only take me about 15 minutes ride on motorcyle to beach. Especially in early morning, where you can see sunrise. A little quite time for you to think what have you did for all these years. Admiring God's work on how lovely the beach was. After that, going to a place where I can eat and relax. There I can fully recharge my battery. And I am back with the most energy I had to face the day.

I am a major homebody. SO the only place that I like to go to recharge is home. I go to work, 5 days a week, and hate almost every minute of it. Home is where I love to be. Take care.

I have my beloved retreat by the sea to escape too and I often do, four times a year, to escape my housemate more than anything! But after October I will escape for good LOL! I find it very relaxing, therapeutic and I am a different person down there! My next visit is November after I return from Rhodes! I also escape to the gym which gets rid of my frustrations and anger and keeps me trim and fit!

I like to go for a holiday with my husband if things get tough and I want to have some place to retreat to. We often go to places like the beach, the highlands and the waterfalls. Places I like to go is Port Dickson, Pantai Morib, Bagan Lalang, Sungai Tekala, Jeram Toi, Jeram Gading, Genting Highlands (I only went once but I really want to go again) and Cameron Highlands and. We also go to shopping complexes just to browse around and see other people's behaviour. Lol. We go to watch movies. We also don't forget to visit our parents - mine and his. That's the way my husband and I relax. It really helps to ease the mind.

Usually when I am needing to do some recharging, I just like to go into my room and read. Though for larger scale recharging, I like to go out camping and just to get away from civilization from a bit and get my thoughts straightened around.

I 'd like to go home 88 kilometes from here. I miss home and I wanted to enjoy mothers cooking and just stay at home and relax and done have to think about anything. Watch tv, cook my favorite dish and enjoy a lot sleeping on my favorite bed.

I would like to take off and go on a vacation somewhere but I am trying to rebuild the income I had several years ago from two network marketing companies one of which is now defunct and the other which changed it's marketing plan and hence my income dropped big time.
My mother lives a three hour drive away in Iowa but I don't consider that a vacation as she always has work for me to do. I love seeing her but that is not where I would want to go to "retreat".
My biggest retreat is just to be able to lay down and get some rest from time to time. Otherwise doing things like going to Barnes and Noble Bookstore and having coffee and reading or writing is a way for me to relax.
