I am kind of seek of them. Movies like SWAT, Miami Vice, Starsky and Hutch have been very examples of remakes. They seem to be looking to an old TV Guide and deciding the movie they are going to make. Now they want to make Chips and Bionic Woman! How bad can that be?

Remakes are usually a failure at the box office except for the Fugitive. Tommy Lee and Harrison Ford were classic.

I am sick of remakes too.All the producers with vision are working for the cable channels and the networks are owned by companies that are afraid to make anything daring or new so they are remaking anything they remember from childhood. That is why all the great t.v. and movies from the 70's are being made. What is so sad is that the original shows and movies are coming out or will come out on DVD. so people like you and me will see the DVDs and won't see the remakes. So the networks will lose more viewers. Why see a bad remake when you have the original?Or a great original show on cable?
