Have you ever seen an automobile on fire before?

In real life, that is. TV, movies, and pictures don't count.

Yes, as a matter of fact my daughter & I saw a car on fire about two months ago. We were driving back from swimming training, & saw a lot of flames. They were coming from a parking lot belonging to a child care centre. There was a car parked there, well allight A group of people were standing on the footpath watching. It was obvious to me that the car had been stoen, then dumped, then set alight to hide any e4vidence. The destroyed & blackened car remained there for a few days.

I was actually in one that caught on fire. My husband, my first baby, and me, were in our car, and the carburator caught on fire. We pulled over, and he pulled his shirt off, and tried to put it out. That didn't work, so he tried to get me to take mine off, and that was a no, on my part. Anyway, the car didn't burn up that bad, but it was still no good. It never got to the point where the entire car was blazing, we had people stop and help us, thankfully.

I have not actually seen one burning but I was very close to one and saw smoking flying by the supermarket window. There was a car on fire in the parking lot but not in plain view and I was in the checkout line. The smoke was coming into the store so they had to shut the doors til the fire was put out. That is as close to seeing one as I have gotten.
