How often do you buy cheap jewelry at the flea market?

Earlier I was surfing around and found an online flea market that had the most amazing jewelry for just a few bucks each. And, though I wouldn't ordinarily consider buying cheap jewelry, online or offline, it gave me pause to think. I've been to lots of local flea markets and fairs in my time, but most don't have a good selection of fun and funky jewelry. Just the really tacky stuff. So, I'm thinking online might be a better location for finding fun jewelry than offline flea markets.
So, how about you? Do you find that local flea markets have a better selection of fun jewelry than fashion boutiques? Do you ever buy cheap jewelry online? Do you think the prices are better offline at fairs and such or online? Please share.

I like to look at the stuff at the flea market but I won't buy it. You can't be sure if it's decent metal or if it's made of lead. There's a great place online you can buy real sterling silver jewelry for just the cost of $5.99 for shipping.

I never by any jewelry from online. I have my guy right here where I can get anything I want for the lowest price around. That is the best thing about having my friends and my lover in the biz. I dont have to go far to get great jewelry. I dont like online because it is hard for me to trust.

I don’t buy jewelry fun or fashionable at flea markets- Now my daughter on the other hand- loves to get the dress-up jewelry and the fun stuff at yard sales, flea markets- wherever we find it- I give her so much money prior to starting out and she spends some on this stuff- She is 10.

I don't really browse any jewelery online because I am always skeptical of what I am getting would be different from what I see in the pictures. We don't have any good flea market here and if I do go some places which look like a flea market around here, still, I think the jewelry looks really cheap. I prefer to go to a boutique to get my jewelry since the stuff look better and it's more too much more expensive. Besides, the only jewelry I buy now is crystal and those crystal flea market around here have some fake stuff and I am not comfy to buy from those places.
