Celebrity punishments

Over the past years it has come to my conclusion that celebrities get off easy when it comes to the law. Who here feels the same way? I mean if we drove drunk we would be in jail for a few years at least, and why did childrens Aid go after britney spears, my god!!

That is incorrect. If any one of us got chared with a DUI we would not spend a few year in jail. First, any period over a year would land you in prison, not jail. Second, they do not put people in prison for DUI alone. Second, I have known people who got charged with DUI and it is inconvenient, but they spent a few days in jail, got out and went into programs and were given sentences of time-served. The only reason why Paris got such a long sentence is because she was busted not once, but twice for driving on a suspended license.
