Positions Available Post-Doctoral Research Fellows/Visiting Scholars: The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. - The Department of Civil Engineering is inviting applications for five post-doctoral research fellow and visiting scholar positions in the area of (1) structural random vibration and finite element analysis; (2) statistical analysis and Bayesian inference; (3) data mining and pattern recognition; (4) statistical signal and image processing; (5) traffic flow theory and simulation, to begin on September 1, 2007. These positions will remain open till filled in. Financial support will depend on availability of grant funding, departmental and program needs, and match with student qualifications.
