what will make you happy when you are depress?

for me, ice cream and chocolate is definitely a mood-upper. i also read books that is really interesting. if i can go out i'll probably go to a videoke shop and sing till i die. haha. just kidding. a good talk with a friend will surely help me overcome my depression. how about you?

Yeah, I think if I am depressed I will talk with somebody whom I trust and let him hear all my problems. Having somebody who understands me makes me feel relieved. It is like letting out a heavy stone out of my chest. Other things which I would do if I am depressed is to read the Quran. It has magical effect on me, as if a calming medicine. Chocolates and ice-cream only gives a temporary relief, and after eating them I will usually feel guilty. Lol. So I try avoiding it most of the time.

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations.

I do not have an comfort food at all. I just wait my problems out or just not think about them for a long time, then when I do, they won't bother me much anymore and I will dismiss them right away.

when am in a bad mood i simply want to go out to a bar or cinema just stay in a place where i can see a lot a people. i also like to talk to a close friend some one that can really make me laugh and have some drinks.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage depression, as it is part of life in busy world. But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.

For me, I will be happy when my depression have gone away (hehehe). And how? Just thinking despression won't bring anything better results, or feeling or anything. I will get out of that soon.

yaa... chocolates and ice creams help me too. I love watching movies.... so a god romantic comedy movie can do wonders. My animals also help me change my mood. Their sweetness is very soothing. They make you love them and care for them and in the process you forget all your sadness.

When I start to feel down I need to be around people. If I start going off by myself it will only get worse. And that is pretty much what I want to do, but I have to try to fight that and be around popele that love me!

hi there! ;0 i dont really have an experience of being so depressed, but i do have some times when i feel sad or lonely. ;p when it happens, i kinda eat a lot. well, not really kinda. i eat a lot. lolz. and that makes me feel better. :) lot better! :) thank you and good day! :)

everytime i'm depressed i just want to listen a loud music but not the rock one.i prefer to use headset so that i can't bother anyone. i like the music that i can sing a long with and while listening to music i browse internet.

It kind of depends on how depressed I am and why. Usually a shopping spree where I can pick up some new candles or bath and body stuff helps me snap out of the blues. If it's something deeper than that I usually have a good cry and some servings of comfort food. Sometimes just cuddling with my cat, my favorite stuffed animals and pillows and all my favorite bedding helps as it comforts me and I just fall asleep and wake up somewhat refreshed.
