As all of you know, there are many people who love their jobs, others that simply do it and that's it, and others that directly hate their jobs, and if they stay is only for the money. I personally like the job that i'm doing right now very much...i like the schedule and what i have to do, so i'm happy there. What about you? do you like your job or you just put up with it for the money?

I dont only like my job but I also love it. HOwever, I am now standing on a crossroad wherein another opportunity is being presented to me. As much as I love my job, I see great potential in terms of money and professional fulfillment in this new opportunity. I could also see great satisfaction in helping others achieve their goals in life.

I'm a complete wage slave. I only come to work so they'll put money in my bank every month. I worked out that with less than half a million english pounds (the value of two average family homes), I could retire right now. I WISH!

If it wasn't such terrible odds, I'd play the lottery more often.

eventhough i dont like much my job i really have to do it, because it is the source of my income. before i thiunk that working in a bank is a good job, wioth big salary but as i heard from some of my friends if you are just an ordinary employee you have just a minimum pay. I have a part-time job i learn to love it because its an information job im a part-time sales agent of an Insurance company, and i love this job, meeting a lots of people, discussing the future and earning additional money to support my family, for me its a noble job because it helps the family financially when the bread winner fast away, the proceeds fom the insurance will help them start anew.

I absolutely hated my last job. Or at least towards the end. I was a restaurant manager. I was a wage slave for the last couple of years there; I wanted to leave, but the job market was the pits. Then when rumors started that the owners of the building were going to sell the place and kick out the tenants, I decided that I didnt care. So when the rumor became true and my bosses shut down my location, I chose to turn down a transfer (mainly because it was a even bigger nightmare than my current location). I am much happier as a college student (I never had time to be a student as a manager) struggling to survive on student loans and the little I make as a freelance writer. Even the worry that I am wasting my time being forty-two and working on my Associate still is better than that job was.

Well I'm glad you're doing what you really want to do now, morgan, there are things money can't buy, and if making more money as a manager was really making you unhappy, then you did the right thing. Another job will come. Thanks for replying.

Hi, well yes i love my job and i think that if you like your job, thats half th battle won, at least you will like going for work and sharing and meeting people and being with them, while at work. It makes a lot of difference to your attitude and outlook towards life, to your mood swings and positive thoughts and nature too i think. Yes there are pople who just work like machines or are mechanical in their work, just for the money they get in it, some just work as they have got it and are lazy to change it, where as i feel that doesnt matter if you arent as well paid, as long as the job you have is to your liking.

Well - in one word - NO - I hate it!!! But sadly here in London it is impossible to live a decent standard of living on just one person's wage, and as you get older it is harder and harder to get a good job for a woman, so I just put up with it. I guess there are some good things to it - the people I work with are generally nice, and the offices are comfortable and central. I am just bored!!! IfI was 20 years younger, I would leave and go somewhere else, but that's not an option here once you get past 40, - so I just "tread water" and wait for the end of the day from the minute I get into the office. LOL!

I like my job too. I like it not for money but for the environment and the type of work i do. I have got the flexibility to work as per my needs and i love it as the best thing of my work.

Hello LightninStrike!(",) Yes, I love my work because teaching is such a noble profession. I love touching other people's lives and be able to share something. I like the schedule as well because we are only required to go in the office for two hours if we don't have a class. I'm enjoying my life and work so far! Great daY!

I admire most teachers because teaching is so hard nowadays. With all that violence and loss of manners etc, i bet it's stressing at times. But at the same time, it has to be nice to see how these kids learn for the future. Thanks for replying.

If you asked me this question two years ago, I would tell you I loved my job. But now I don't. I don't hate it but I am bored with it and that's why I have resigned already. I think I need a change after some years and I want to see improvement in myself. When I have all the job and accomplishments at my present job, it's time for me to move on and learn something new. That's what I call constant improvement *laughs* (an excuse to have a career break really.).

i think that what you're doing is cool, even though it depends on where you are. Sometimes there are countries or moments in which you cannot really choose, so if u have a decent job, you better keep it. But if you find it easy to find a new job, then changing after a while is probably the best.
