Can you ask people for help or some other thing?

Oh I hate it too. I've always been very dependent and dont like to ask anyone for anything. As I get older I'm getting better about it but if I'm really busy at work and need help to get something done I just hate to ask for help. And I think I'd starve before I asked someone for money. There's no way I could ever do that.

Hi there. Well to be honest, I cant stand to ask anyone for help, even though its there... I like to do things for myself and family, I dont like to ask or depend on anyone for that matter, Im to use to being independant and to use to doing for myself... Anyway, who would want to feel obligated and knowing someone helped you out... With me its my independents and probaby a little self pride lol...

I ask for help only from my close friends and they are always ready to help .. I am not that .. who always need help from others but sometimes situations go out of hand and at that time we really need help and I am blessed with so good friends that they are there for me and always help me whenever in need.

I personally don’t like to ask for help from others. Most of my works, I will try to do it myself, without depending on the others. I don’t feel good to ask others to help me on my job, unless I cant really do it myself.

I do not ask for help but I am always ready to help. But, there are rare times when I really need help. My close friends are always there to help me. Life is about sharing things, helping each other in difficulties, sharing good things etc.. So, why not take help when you really need it and also when there are close friends always ready to help. Help them back. I also believe that there are times when we all need help, be it financial or emotional, but we need it. I know I sound different from other but this is my personal experience and that's what I feel.

Hi, well i see no harm in asking for help incase the need be of course. Why should we not incase we are in need? Yes i agree too much of asking leads to depending on people for almost everything and as much as possible i also try and avoid seeking anyone elses help, and being self dependant, that ways we are able to do everything on our own, but all i want to say is that, there is no harm seeking help in case youre stuck in something and are facing some kind of a problem, and we always seek help of those whom either we know little or our close ones, so there should be no holding back from them.

Dear ebhattji, I generally do not ask for help. But in certain cases I was forced to ask for help since I got into such a situation and circumstances where I cannot help myself. It happend about 30 years ago. On a transfer, I was alone going to Mirzapur. I was carrying lot of luggage. It was Toofan express. I got down at Mirzapur Station morning 3am. While getting down I think I lost my purse. Balance you can think yourself what was my position.
