Let's Pretend

Let's pretend the earth is full, and some of us are forced to move to the moon. We're not allowed to take anyone that we know personally, but we can pick one celebrity, to take with us. And then, we have to pick one celebrity, to take our place, with our significant other, or to take care of our pets, or whatever we're forced to leave behind. Who would you choose in both instances? Also, you'll have everything you need to get by, once you get there, so you have to leave all your present belongings behind, but you can pick one new luxury possession to take with you. What would that be? I would choose, as my celebrity, Jim Carey, he's good looking, and extremely funny, and to take my place, at home, maybe Kathy Griffin. She loves animals, and she's a comedienne, so maybe she will rub off on my grouchy husband, while I'm gone. For my luxury item, gotta have a good computer. lol

Oh this is so unique, never seen a post like this before, gotta love it Thanks. You can tell I'm a whole lot older than you because good looks doesn't mean zip to me. Amazing what 8 years can do LOL LOL. I'd pick my celebrity to be Bob Barker because he's so down to earth, level headed, and sensitive person. I would pick Rosie ODonald to stay with my husband because I know for a fact she would NEVER put up with his childish, imature and ignorant ways, therefore he might be a half decent human being by time I walked through the door. I hate to repeat what you said but YES I need a good computer at all times so definatly my laptop is my luxury item. Thank You for this post it was all for fun...

I'm glad you enjoyed this. I was laying in bed last night, and this just popped in to my head, and I thought, hey, that sounds like fun, so turned on my light, and grabbed a sticky note and wrote it down. lol I also, thought of Rosie O'Donnel to stay with my husband. She and Bob Barker both came to mind. I ruled him out because of age, and wasn't sure if Rosie liked cats, so didn't pick her. But, I know she could give my hubby a run for his money. lol

I considered leaving Bob Barker for my husband, but figured he's so old(Bob Barker), that the shock of putting up with my husband, would be more than he could handle. lol

I've got more than 20 cats too. lol All mine are fixed, but 6, and 4 are to be fixed in September, and the other 2 are so old, and never go out, so I'm not bothering with them.

I would choose Van Morrison as my celebrity. I love his music and he could keep me entertained vocally and spiritually, whilst I'm on the Moon. He satisfies the gypsy in my soul. :)
The celebrity I'd leave behind to look after my home would be Linda Barker who is my favourite TV Designer, from "Changing Rooms". Then I might come back to find my home has altered for the better, since I have no pets or anything. :)
The luxury item I would have to be a Moon to Earth laptop, so that I could keep in contact with what's going on with my friends and family back home. I would miss everybody far too much, even in the company of one of the greatest musicians who ever lived.

If I have to take one celebrity with me, I think I will bring Julie Andrews. She has the quality of a good mother, and a good companion too. I think I can go along pretty well with her. She seems polite and homely. For the luxury thing, I want to bring along a moon to earth private transport, a rocket whatsoever so that I can travel so and forth from moon to the earth. This way I can guy things from earth and get back to the moon to live. Lol. Great idea, isn't it?

I'd take Adam Sandler- I want funny also and he's cute- I would leave back in my place - Reese Witherspoon- It's my sig. others favorite actress- and I would want him happy- I would take for my luxury item-- a cell phone so I can call my daughter- I know it's just for fun because I wouldn't leave without her!

Well, hopefully there is a preacher on the moon, because I'm taking Joaquin Phoenix and we're getting hitched! I'm not married, but I need someone to take care of my two puppies. I think I would choose Adam Sandler because I know he would keep them active, and I know he has a dog and they would have an extra playmate. He's also a confessed pet lover. As for my luxury item I take to the moon, I would choose meteor repellant, because you just never know, LOL.

To take my place, it will have to be Julia Roberts because she seems like someone I would trust with my kids/family.
And the person I would probably take with me would be Britney Spears because I think she would keep me intertained. LOL!
And for something luxury, well, a laptop, of course!

What an interesting concept. Hmmmmm....I think I would leave Sean Connery behind. My wife would never notice the difference.
I would take Betty White I think. She is older than I but
she has such a dynamic personality even now and would be lots of fun.
If we could take two I would also take Sandra Bullock, dragging and screaming of course. LOL

It has to be JET LI lol..then he can teach me all the Gong Fu and Ta ji that I will need for becoming a Master fighter lol..Oh luxury item would beone wicket Tai Ji sworf that would come too me from Heaven by this Daoist Immortal and it will have special powers and I would run around with Jet Li and save all the goodies against demons and baddies..is that good lol?

Mmmm...right off the bat, the celebrity to go with me would be the actor Viggo Mortensen..heheeh, for the celebrity to take my place to hold down the fort back Earth...maybe someone like Sandra Bullock,--as for a luxury item..I'm guessing that maybe we might be able to get items on the moon, so I rather than take my computer, would buy one there, along with camera equipment...so I wouldn't take a luxury item, not really, I'd rather take my kitties...can they come??? If not I'd sure be miserable... :(

well for my celebrity i would pick antonio banderas,for my house and animals i would pick ellen,and for my luxury i would pick my lap top or my hair scissors,then i can at least make some money while being there.take care.

Well, I would have to take Emeril. Some people think this is strange but I'm very attracted to him. Not only that but he can cook and he's funny. To take my place, I would choose Oprah so she can take care of things while I'm gone. For my luxury item, I would take a good computer, too.

I am a guy so here goes my selection.
I would take Britney Spears with me. Reason being, she is so needy and if I have her with me on the moon, she can devote all her time to me. I will make her sing to me and we can be in each other's arms all day long. (What can we do on the moon anyway...haha)
As for the luxury item, I would take my lappie. The internet is so huge I can practically do anything online.
To take my place at home, that would have to be a Angelina Jolie. My father would be proud.

I would take jet li with me. ^__^ if anything bad happens, he can protect me since he's a wushu master and i'd feel secured if I'm with him. ^__^ then I would choose oprah to take my shoes. LOL she's a great person and she's very kind and she gives importance to almost everything here on earth. ^__^
then, as for the luxury item, i'll take with me my cabinet. LOL it has all my clothes, jewelries, toiletries and some personal stuff. plus, I sometimes put my cellphone and pda in it so if I'm going to take it with me to the moon, I hope there'll be a great chance that my fone and pda are in it. LOL
