Have you ever forgotten to take along enough underwear on a trip?

I guess this situation happens to everyone at least once in their life. You think that you have planned for all situations and then you forget the most important thing on your list. And, that one thing happens to be plenty of pairs of underwear.
Has this situation ever happened to you? Have you ever forgotten to pack your back-up bra or slip? Have you ever left for a trip with only one pair of underwear in your suitcase?
And, for the guys, have you ever forgotten to pack an extra couple pairs of boxer shorts or an extra under-shirt when going on a trip? How did you manage until you got home? Did you spend the money to buy more once you got to your destination or just do without?

This is one thing that I can honestly say has never happened to me. I am obsessive compulsive and I will make list upon list and check an re-check. It's a pain in the neck. But I guess in the end it pays off since I've never forgotten anything!! :o)

I suppose forgeting the extra underwear would be preferrable to forgeting one's own child like that woman from Home Alone. Who does that anyway? I suppose it was just a mix up. Though I am sure if a person forgot to pack extra undies it would feel sort of like a catastrophe.

ROFLMAO!!! Yes, I think forgetting extra undies would be a terrible catastrophe. I'm not sure how a person could forget their child at home either. My kids wouldn't LET me forget them. :o)

Yeah, I always thought the Home Alone concept was kind of bogus. Who does that, right? Good grief. No mom in her right mind would ever forget their child. I guess she should have done a head count before driving off.

i have forgotten to bring a pair of undies, but not on a trip, its an outing...to a beach...
here in my place, we are very conservative, you dont see people swimming in a bathing suit or in a two piece.
so, for me its a light shirt and a cotton shorts.
i enjoyed myself in the water already then i discover i did not bring any underwear...i ended up wearing my clothes over a pair of wet underwear

Oh, that must have been uncomfortable! I think I did that once when I was a kid. It was not a nice ride home.

I've never forgotten to take enough underwear, and if I'm short, I have always rinsed them through and hung them on the radiator to dry overnight. lol.
The one thing I'm always forgetting to pack is my nightie, so I'm always buying "holiday nighties". lol. I suppose that's a good excuse to widen my nightie wardrobe. I don't know why that is, but I'm forever forgetting my nightwear!

I never went on a trip with no underwear, but I have been on a few trips that got a bit longer then first planned, so what I had with me was not enough. As stated earlier underwear aren't that expensive, so I went out to buy some more.
I think that's a pretty small thing to forget, as long as you have the most important things with you (like passport, money and your tickets) the rest can be replaced with new if it would be left behind.

i don't remember such a situation.we always took so many things that we didn't ever wear more than a half from the clothes we took on holiday.we took almost all the clothes.even the ones i am not wearing all over the year i took when we go on holiday.don't ask me why.maybe i don't want o let them alone at home being frightned.poor of them!

well..lucky me that i have never had this experience because i always well prepare everything and i always bring ,what is important,more than usually. let's say i'm on vacation for 4 days, then i will bring underwear around 6. and you know what? everytime i have a trip, i always bring underwear (specially for bottom) that is disposable. so i don't have to bring my "original" panty too much. one pack of disposable panty contain of 7 panties.it's more than enough..i wear my own panty only on my way back home. i think it's really practical and i don't have to wash my underwear during my trip.

Lol. I have experienced this once when I was on a vacation trip. I totally forgot to bring my undies. So what I did was, in the evening when I went back into my hotel room I would wash my undies and hang them beside the air conditioning so that the breeze of air coming out from there will make the undies dry faster. If it didn't dry the next morning, I just switch on the hair dryer and give a full blast of hot air to the undies. Lol. In 10 minutes it surely dried off. What an embarrassing moment to remember, but surely something memorable too!

I haven't ever forgot anything like that when I've traveled somewhere. If I did, I would just go to Walmart or somewhere and buy some more.
The only thing I've ever forgotten when I was traveling, was I left the pack of wipes in a restroom once, and didn't discover it until I got to the next rest area. So I had to find a place that sold baby wipes so I could change my poor baby. I used toilet paper to wipe him at the place that I discovered I didn't have wipes, and found a Walmart a few miles down the road. Since then, I always keep an extra pack of wipes in the car at all times!

Nope never, I always make sure I have one for every day and then add on another 5 or more depending on how long I am going away for. I always make sure I have my three basic bra colors, black, brown and white and then toss in a few extras like strapless and or sports bra just in case. If I do run out then I would go and buy more.

I've forgotten a lot of stuff when I've gone somewhere. The TWO articles of clothing I never ever forget to pack is Underwear and Socks. If I'm going somewhere for say 3 days. I'll pack at least pairs of socks and underwear. I always always overpack clothes in general anyhow because I like to give myself options. I don't like to only be able to wear these set outfits I pack...so I always pack more.
Usually I forget things like toothpaste or soap...which you can easily buy just about anywhere.

Hey there!! I'm back! hehe.. long story..
Anyways, back to the discussion, I've definitely been there. But as long as I have an extra one in the bag (besides the one i'm wearing, i usually wash them and dry them wherever I'm staying. But if I know that my "travel time" isn't long enough for me to wash-and-dry it, then I'll pop by the convenient store and buy some. Mind you, it won't be any victoria's secret but it gets the job done. :D

I never forgot to bring my cloth or my underwear.The most important thing is not the wear.When you forgot the certificate,it is the catastropher.
