I came across this story not long ago. It's quite an embarrasing incident forv one woen. Apparently when her husband was asleep, she had a garage sale. Amonst the items she was selling, was a ceremic pot in the shape of a turtle. It contained the ashes of her husbands first wife. She didn't know this, or remember the ashes were inside. The women sold it for 58c. Husband found out later. He was not happy. They are now hoping that the women who bought the "pot" will discover the ashes inside & return it. Shows how ee have to be very careful with others belongings! Read the full story here: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,22202538-5005962,00.html

Did you read how they got the ashes back? It was good to know the ashes were returned and they are all OK now.

At the time of writing the article, the ashes had not been returned.

I cannot imagine how bad she felt. That is so horrible. I hope that the other woman returns it. I would not have wanted to be that woman when her husband found out!!

How bizarre! Just when you think you've heard it all. Hopefully the item will be returned. If not, the people who bought it are crazy.

I feel sorry for the husband, but I don't think he don't need to blame anybody for what happened. In the first place, it was an accident and Im sure the wife didn't know anything about the ashes when she handed that pot. I just hope that the pot be returned immediately after the buyer finds out about the ashes. Nice shape though, turtle.(=

He probably shouldn't have had his late wifes ashes lying around in an accessible pot anyway.

You think he can forgive her? I mean on one hand, his focus should be his current wife. On the other hand, it's the ashes of someone he loved very much! How awful she must have felt!
