What if your were poor and Had an opurunity to.....

Ok, I'm curious enough to know that, What if you were poor and had nothing not even a penny and were given an opurunity to get a HOUSE or $1 million dollars, then what would your prefer from these?
If I were poor and in a situation like this, then I would prefer the house, definitely I need a place where I would like to live and have an opurunity to develop myself.
What would be your choice?

i would definitely take the one million dollars,
i would buy a house with 250,000$, (it is possible to get a nice house at that price here), the rest of the money i would put in the bank, and invest it in stocks or other things that can bring me more money in the nearest future.

If I were given that choice and was poor. I would definately take the house. I would rather have a roof over my head than all the money in the world.

If I were to get 1 million I had do the same but since I would have nothing, I would get a house.

I will invest it first on buying apartments and then rent it to people. So I will never have to works 9 - 5 again.
