Should junk foo ads be restricted?

Should food advertising aimed at children on the web be barred? The British Heart Foundation has described the food manufacturers target children on the internet as "unprincipled" and "unacceptable". The charity is on ten major organisations which say companies are using web sites set up for children to advertise their products and offer free sweets and fast food. What are your views on internet advertising? Do you feel the rules should be changed? Is enough being done to protect children whilst online?

The parents need to have control over what their child eats. The children can't eat it, if no one buys it for them. I know and have known parents who don't buy junk for their children and my mother was one of them.

I do not know about that because if they do then they won't be making hardly any money any more. So, I guess I wouldn't go that far at all.

I think perhaps children should spend more time at play at centers, outside, what have you then online. Online time should only be for homework because there are far more than just junk food danger on the Internet.
