travelling

For me, i enjoy travelling to places that are not totally directed to tourism. Now am i the odd man out? or do some poeple agree with me, that they do not enjoy constant hording of locals trying to get your money. I just want to experience life in a different country, not be treated like an outsider. A place like this for example is Mexico, as much as i like the beaches and such, i'd rather go to a place where i can just blend in and experience what its really like there. What about you?
