I'm so excited! I submitted 2 pieces for the Harry Potter challenge last month, and got an email today that said I was selected as a winner. It was fun deciding what to spend my $25 Barnes & Noble gift certificate on. I just felt the need to gloat.

Congratulations! I think I might have to try to join more of their challenges--a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble would be a wonderful treat for me! :)

I was almost as bad shopping online as I am in the store. It took me 2 hours to pick out what all I wanted to spend my giftcard on!

As well you should. Congratulations! That is a fantastic feat. Do you write often or was this a first and inspired by the challenge?

I tend to submit randomly to Associated Content. I try for at least 2 a month, and I try to submit 1 or 2 things to every challenge and call for content (if I can).

Congrats! Sounds like fun! My sister used to do something like that, but I dont think she got paid for it... I think it was a Harry Potter fan fiction thing, or something like that.... I myself never really got in to the whole Harry Potter thing...

Very cool, Wicc. I need to take a look at AC and see if it's worth my while - I'm not certain since I'm not great of a writer and would probably be booed off the site.

Congratulations! That's wonderful! I signed up at Assoc Content a few weeks ago but have been too intimidated to write anything.

It's easy once you get started. The hardest part is finding topics to write on.
