how come that much respond ???

There are a lot of factors involved with getting a lot of responses. For some people it's because they've been here a long time, they have a lot of friends, that sort of thing. Other times you just get lucky, and hit on a topic that a lot of people are interested in or feel strongly about. I know my discussion that got the most responses was about "choosing to have an only child" and it got about 140 I think. But most of my discussions don't get anywhere near that many, and even though I've been here 7 months once in a while I'll have one that just gets 10-20 responses. It doesn't really bother me that much, because usually those reponses are from my close friends and have actual useful information in them, or kind words. =)

The response amount comes with time being here in mylot with more experience. having more firnds also helps getting your discussions to more members to be given the chance to respond. I think I have gotten maybe 60 or so for the most responses. Add more friends to get your discussions more attention. Make sure your discussions are quality filled also.
