This is the best time for a merienda and my mom cooked champorado for us. Every household in the philippines would prepare champorado every time there is storm in our islands. let's kill the breeze with hot champorado with milk.

i envy all of you, you can eat champorado, ginataan and lugaw anytime you want. forgot already the last time i ate that hot snacks of the pinoys.. mmmmm maybe i can make champorado tomorrow, but i have to buy sticky rice at the asian shop here. ordinary rice didnt taste good in champorado. by the way can you send me tuyo?? lol

Heyyy!! You are talking abt me... no kidding i'm eating "champorado" now while doing my stuff here in myLOT. . Haha! .. Well, its freshly cooked and what can i say? its yummy, u forgot to mention with some coconut sauce or gata .. it tastes better plus some dried fish or "tuyo". Want some? (",)

It's really a great thing to find someone having the same thing you're doing at the same time.. you're right it's more delicious combined with "tuyo".

you are right.... but there are more merienda that we Filipiono enjoys.... champorado is one, lugaw also, and ginatan. wow wow wow it all taste good. yummy

I prefer hot ginataang halo-halo with lots of sago (tapioca) and langka (jackfruit) :p

hahahaha... yum yum yum...i love arroz caldo too.. these are the best food for me for this season.
