Light travels at around 300.000 km / sec. So what is the speed of darkness ?? Anyone measured that ?

I would think that, since darkness is the absence of light, darkness doesn't travel. Darkness is a steady state rather than an active condition.
My answer - darkness does not move - even though literature says it falls, it descends, it engulfs, and it closes in.
