What do you think of the COT?

After seeing the COT at several different tracks, what do you think? Did NASCAR mess up a great racing series? Is the car too much like an ARCA car? Is the gray area too undefined, leaving room for cheating and confusion?

Although it looks a little weird at first, I think it's kind of growing on me. The wing will take some time to get used to, but I think that's only because of what I'm used to with the spoiler. The wing looks more "stock". I think the car will ultimately improve competition. It will definitely improve safety. Those are two very important factors. As for it making them look too much like ARCA cars, actually most ARCA cars are old Cup cars. After a team makes new cars, they sell the old ones and ARCA teams are usually the beneficiaries of that. So, the CoT looks nothing like an ARCA car. I think NASCAR has shown on two separate occasions that there will be little gray area. That hasn't been the case in the past. The new car will have fewer chances for "adjustments" and should make for more even racing. There will be no wiggle room in the rules. I give the car two thumbs up and I'm glad they are going to go with it full time next year.
