i heard on the news that lindsay lohan's parents are to blame for her behaviour...she states that they were partiers and had no regard for her, just her money as she was growing up...is this true or just a copout? what do you think?

Well from what I understand her mum likes to party with her under the pretense that she's "Watching out for her" (pfft whatever)..SO I do think that the parents are PARTLY to blame HOWEVER Lindsay IS NOT a child anymore and needs to step up to HER responsiblity on it all ya know...sure when she was little the parents got the ball rolling but she's a woman now and is very capable of making her own choices....so yea I think the parents ARE responsible but NOT completely by any means....

I totally agree. There are famous starlets who had a much harder time in early life, and they chose to go the way of responsible.

Her parents ARE a factor. Her dad has been in jail, and her mom parties with her, allowing her to drink way before she was of age. But at some point, a person has to take responsibility for herself and make specific choices. There is no doubt in my mind that despite her upbringing, she knew what was right and what was wrong. While her parents did her an awful disservice, no one can claim ultimate responsibility but Lindsay herself. I do think if Lindsay's mother has any more kids they should be living with other, more stable relatives.
