i hardly do it, unless my ears are itching me badly. After all, its not advisable to do it yourself, to avoid risk of eardrum perforation and bacterial or fungal growth.

As per doctor's advice we should not get go with cleaning earbuds and all due to damages to ear drum. But for our irritations in ear we have to satisfy ourselves in all ways. Previously mostly doctors use to flush the ears with syringe water wash nowadays no doctor is doing so , hence we have to satisfy by our easy means of doings.

Once itchiest I clean my ears. How do I clean it? I don't even use any had stuff or cotton buds. Previously used to be having that stuffs for cleaning.
After being advice by qualified E.N.T. practitioner, I no longer use that stuffs. He explained to me that the ears has natural hairs that do the natural cleaning. Hard stuffs will cause inner part skin to blemish and for cotton buds it will push-in the residual into deep inner part of the ear and make worse.
So he gave me 'fluid ear cleaning' and I use it to clean my ears.
