What recent event in your life has made you sad?

My ex hasn't been able to come by and see our son for the past several weeks for various reasons. He mentioned today that he's really jonesing for a hug from him. Tonight, an old friend from NJ was in town on business and took my son and I out for dinner. My son was so excited to have the company of an adult male. He wanted to be lifted and played with and gave my friend some hugs. It was very sad for me, knowing that what my friend was experiencing was exactly what his daddy is wanting. Hopefully he'll be able to come over tomorrow for a little while, or sometime this weekend.

my sister's marriage is currently not doin well, we found out his husband is cheating on her and it really is affecting the kids. It's also making us the whole family sad about it.

Well, there a lot of things here and there. I just don't like to talk about them right now. They're in the past and no need to revisit them again.

Hearing that my auntie had to have her kidney removed due to cancer makes me sad and really scares me. I loss my mother and two aunts already because of cancer. I don't want to bear that happening again.
