Is the look of something or good functioning more important to you?

If you have a choice between 2 items that perform the same function. 1 looks really good but doesn't perform well. The other looks ok - not great, but not awful, but it performs much better. Assuming both cost about the same, which would you choose?

good functioning! Sure if something looks cool and trendy that's great, but if it's cheaply made then youre going to have something thats cool and trendy but broken! I'm definatly into quality over looks.

thanks for your reply. I agree good quality is a better option than just being attractive.

I would much rather get something that performs well rather than look good...In my mind why get something that looks terrific, but doesn't perform well and might need a lot of repairs later on?

I prefer performance over looks. I have lots of stuff that looks good, but doesn't do anything, but lay around my house now. So, if it's something that I can't use, I don't want it. I'd probably prefer those same traits in a man, as well. lol If he looks good, and just wants to lay around my house in the way, forget him. I want some work done. lol Dishes don't wash themselves.
