What's with all the bunny costumes on Big Brother 8?

Tonight, I was watching Big Brother 8 for the second time this season. Apparently, I've missed a lot of episodes and have plenty of catching up to do. On tonight's episode several cast members were wearing bunny costumes. Maybe I missed the first half of this episode. What was the purpose of the bunny costumes? Did someone lose a bet?

It was part of the veto competition last week. They had to write the between 1-120 hours that they would wear the bunny suit! You can catch up on the Big Brother episodes on www.cbs.com

It was all part of the Veto competition the night before- Power of Veto was up for grabs- and The people wearing the bunny suits- said they would wear them for some many days in order to win the POV. It’s a great show this year-

Oh I wish I could see your Big Brother, I am missing ours so much, there just isn't anything esle on television except murder and crime, I love watching Big Brother I think I will write to our televisio station to ask them to show your Big Brother in our off season, that would be so cool.
