Before the advancement of medical science, people used to apply kerosene internally by swishing in throat and externally by rubbing kerosene outside throat area. Many people still practice such home remedies. Do you practice or do you believe in such fallacies.

I don't believe in such fallacies. It seems to be dangerous to use this method. I would never test this for safety.

You know it can be very dangerous to apply kerosene in the mouth. Your throat can be burn by kerosene. I don't believe in like this, and i will not try this never. There are many medicines for soar throat, and i am really glad, i haven't been in that year.

Our grand mother used to make a decoction out of pepper and we would get some relief. Also we used to gargle in hot, salted water.
