I for one, thought that as the final book in an outstanding series, Deathly Hallows was a little bit of a let down. Does anyone else share this feeling with me?

I agree, the book wasn't what I expected, I expected it to be a lot more from what HP7 is. It could be that I am dissapointed because there aren't going to be any more HP books, I feel that the book wasn't the best Jk made in the HP series. Book 5 was/is my favorite book, I though that HP7 was going to be my favorite, but I was wrong. HP7 went too fast for my liking, something I noticed is the change in Dumbledore when he is talking with Harry almost at the end of the book, Dumbledore acted strange and Harry too, Harry always respected him but he didn't use "sir" in the whole conversation, i don't know why it is just that I felt weird reading that chapterXD. I can't believe that this is the last book, But there is Fanfic:)

No, i tought the last book was great, good ending for the series. Though maybe Voldemort was defeated too easily. Other than that it was great

i was a but disappointed by the book. most of the theories that i had predicted came true except the thing about the hallows.it seemed that jkr had written the book in a hurry. i like the middle part though which was written in true jkr style. but i was a bit disappointed by the ending. the ending was heroic when all were expecting a tragic ending. but overall the series was good.

The main thing I didn't like was the 'bit' in the middle when it was just Harry & co moving around from place to place. It was quite boring as nothing happened. It did get a lot better towards the end though.

I totally agree. My anticipations where much higher. At the rate the story was going i din't even try to imagine as to what the end would like. It felt like lot of things have been crammed up in a single book. The rate at which the different parts of the series where coming up the last instalement was definitely a dampper.
