yeah ..its ok specially gals but boys r also not far behind....i think they also hide there age ...specially when they r talking to a girl......what do u think ?? many thanks :)

all like to stay young active and beautiful...so they hide their age..have seen it more commonly in women..if they could they wil always tell they are in the twenties :)

Because they have a personality complex regarding this... and they shouldn`t in order to have a healthy life... but this is how things go... today a complex... tommorow a depression!!!

I have noticed that people usually hide their age when they are in a crowd that is not in the same age bracket as them. On the internet it is so much easier for them to do. They can create a person that they want to be, instead of being who they are. I guess it is because either they are not happy with who they are or the age they say they are was a better time for them. I tell people my age mostly because I feel like I have earned every birthday candle that is added to the cake.

It doesn't make much sense to me. If you pretend to be younger, but don't look younger, then people just think you don't take very good care of yourself, and have aged before your time.

Our society equates young-looking women with potential for achievement. My sister-in-law in California is 60 but looks 40. She said that if anyone at the company she works for would find out her real age, she'd be canned in a minute.

People hide their age due to various reasons. It is a common desire of any one to stay as long as possible. The aged people are normally not respected and treated as stigma to the society. Secondly however be efficient one has retire from his services at a pre determined age. So people normally try to hide their age

I don't need to hide my age at the moment, I'm still being asked for id at 29! I'm sure that's all going to change though.

yeah ur absolutely right the main thing is they always wants to remain young but do think by only hiding the age they can become young ..if they r not physically fit not healthy then i think they will not look young....and may b people start pointing them for that........isn't it? many thanks for ur response :)
