getting sorted

I had spent the last 6 years piling on pounds and gradually becomming more and more unhealthy. In April enough was enough and so since then I have gone back to what I used to do before I got lazy. I eat sensibly... healthy food. And now I am back to swimming and in the gym. I also try to get a sensible amount of sleep as the shift work I do is a downer when it comes to your general well being!!! I was 16.5 stone, at least, in April. Its now early August and I am under 14 stone. My target is 11 stone. However the weight is not the main focus. Getting healthy is and as a result the weight comes off.

Hello, 710725246. It sounds like you made a clear decision to change your health habits and lifestyle. Good for you! I just recently started back on my food program (3 days ago) and already, I am feeling calmer and more confident. I, too, try to swim 4 or 5 times a week. I like to walk and do so either outdoors early in the a.m. or inside on the treadmill. I very much admire what you are doing. You have given me inspiration! Pearl Grace
