Does anyone know why we have to type in a security code with every little thing we do on the internet now a days? I didn't mind them in the beginning but now everyone is using them and they are driving me crazy.

Well it is kinda lame actualy they do it to keep computers using proxy servers to signup and post spam about alot of things and many times have viruses attached. so by doing a code it shows your human and thats why the code changes everytime that way when it tries to solve the code it will never get it because it will always change

With spam so prevalent and security iffy, I guess that makes sites feel more assured. But I think if someone really wants to spam you, or break security, they are going to find a way.

Because they think the scanners and identity thieves have finally discovered the science of invisibility and they can also teleport into our rooms without us knowing about it. They also assume that we are a bunch of dumb clucks who do not use anti virus protection, do not have fire wall protection and we keep the Windows Xp or Vista firewall turned off. (sorry do not have a Mac, yet.) So for the few people who do not take these precautions, they put in the security codes. I hate them when they are almost the same color as the background which is almost very decorative.

i totally know what you mean. I hate the seciruty code thingys. The reason for them is to keep the bots out of the sites. That way we know whos real and whos not, sopposely. Still some bots get in the sites and spam it like crazy... but they still make us do it.
