I went earlier this year and lost 200 bucks. I didn't win anything. I would like to go again. I have to save for it. Not sure how much I will take with me, probably the same amount.

thanks for comment,do you play the slots or the card games?thats a good amount you take.i wouldnt take anymore than the 300 i take with me either.but when we go we have dinner, and we walk the board walk,so atleast we make a whole day out of it.so then we dont feel as bad if we do lose.

We play the slots. We also have dinner. Our casino is way out all on its own. The nearest town isn't too far away but the casino covers a very big area. I don't think I would take more than 200.00. Making a day of it is a nice way to spend time together and hopefully win some money as well.

it is good to realize that you do not lose much in casinos and in fact make some gains . keep up your control and never lose much .

I am not a gambler, 3lilangels, but I did go to the casino once about three years ago. My sister and her boyfriend love to go, so they talked me into going one night. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't want to make it a habit. I started with $40.00 and won up to $85.00. I left broke and disheartened because I didn't have enough sense to quit while I was ahead, lol.

$1200 is a pretty nice jackpot! That must have been exciting. We live in a resort area, so we go through the casinos frequently, usually on the way to dinner! We pretty much moved to this area because of the wonderful dining opportunities and other tourist opportunities that locals can enjoy off-season. I'd rather play skill games online for money than live games in a casino, but sometimes we gamble just a little, usually no more than $20, mostly to keep company with friends who are visiting. I have a little gambling book that I've kept from the first time I ever put my first nickel in a slot machine. In this book, I have recorded each and every gambling transaction I've ever made in my life. Just one time a casino security guy came up and demanded to know what I was writing in my little book. I showed him every page dating back to 1969 and he was just amazed. He and I were both trying so hard not to laugh. At that time, the balance in my book was $3.17 to my credit. What I don't have a record of is how much I've spent at the hotel gift shops!

We go about once a year to a Casino. My husband lot $80 and I won $80, so we broke even. I got to spend some of the money later on that day. Some of those tourist shops are gorgeous. They have you leave your money one way or another.

I love to gamble, my mother was a huge gambler too, she went to the casino all the time, when she was alive, I would laugh at her playing the penny slots, but she would win. I dated a high roller for 3 years and the amount of money I saw him lose and win would scare me so I never gambled, after we broke up I started playing his game, and unbelieveably would win, the first time I was $3,000 with only $300 of my money in it, the next time I won $5,000 and then the last time I went, which was 2 years ago, I won $7,000 and was told by MGM Grand in Vegas that the room would be on them the next time I went. Life has been so busy that I have been unable to get back there, but so much fun and so scary at the same time.

The most I have ever brought with me was about $200... I have only been to the casino about 3 times.. I would have to say I ended up broke pretty much every time.. I like going to bingo sometimes though.. I have better luck with that and the rip offs.. I won $100 3 nights in a row on the rip offs.. I have never won any really big money..not yet anyways ;)

I've only ever been to the Las Vegas airport... and I played the slot machines once. The ride back through I was horribly ill. But I made out about even. I put in about 20 and made about that much back. It wasn't all that great. I hate money so I doubt I'd do it often.
