Have you ever had someone break up with you by email or text message?

Awhile back I heard that Britney Spears broke up with K-Fed (her then husband Kevin Federline) by text message. Or, maybe it was voice mail. And, it made me wonder how someone could consider a spouse so disposable that they could eliminate them with one simple indiscreet act. I guess if you don't really love someone it would be easy to do. Maybe that was the case for her. So, I was wondering, do lots of people take the easy way out when breaking off their relationships? Did your boyfriend or girlfriend ever break up with you via email, voice mail or text message? Or, did they have the guts to tell you to your face?
