When does the first baby tooth fall out?

My daughter has gotten all her baby teeth (thank goodness!) and now she is eating normally. But even before she got her first tooth, she liked to eat food. Lately, she has been going through a really picky stage where she doesn't want to eat the foods she loved before. She is just trying to eat soft foods like macaroni and such. A year ago, she would eat big hunks of chicken and hotdogs. But, now that time is gone.
And, I was wondering, perhaps she is having some tooth pain and her first tooth is about to fall out. What age does a child's first baby tooth fall out. I think my first tooth fell out when I was five or six years old, but only because I was biting on something at the time. I guess it wouldn't have fallen out otherwise. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have been wondering the same thing too. My son is five and there is no sign of his teeth falling out, which I suppose is a good thing right? anways let me know when you do find out.

It has been my experience that a majority of children lose their first baby toot around 6...then several will come out within a few months of each other...
I would ask her if her teeth are bothering her and take her to the dentist if she has not been lately...they would be able to alleviate your worries....

From my experience usually somewhere between the ages of 5-7. How old is your daughter? Has she cut all of her molars? My oldest didn't cut his last molars until he was almost 6. Sometimes kids just go through different tages where they want to eat different foods consistently and then they'll hate those same foods the week after. It could be just a phase she's going through.
