When does the first baby tooth fall out?

My daughter has gotten all her baby teeth (thank goodness!) and now she is eating normally. But even before she got her first tooth, she liked to eat food. Lately, she has been going through a really picky stage where she doesn't want to eat the foods she loved before. She is just trying to eat soft foods like macaroni and such. A year ago, she would eat big hunks of chicken and hotdogs. But, now that time is gone. And, I was wondering, perhaps she is having some tooth pain and her first tooth is about to fall out. What age does a child's first baby tooth fall out. I think my first tooth fell out when I was five or six years old, but only because I was biting on something at the time. I guess it wouldn't have fallen out otherwise. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks!
