Another scam and I am so sad I was in this......

In Uk there are many competition on the Tv show and they always ask the audience who are watching them from home, to enter to their competition by phone. The prizes on those competitions are really attractive so naturally many paople take part in that over phone, but recently Govt found all of these phoney competition are fake, they even do not consider the answers recieved over telephone and they already fix the winner and this is just a show. I have taken part in many of them and I was surprized many times even after giving right answer, they never get back to me and after a while when they got the same answer from somebody else (the person they already fixed from the begining)choose their winner. I was sometimes mad at them but what could i do so i just forgot it. It just came in the news and most of those phony competitions are now banned here.

Well that's quite shocking, as I don't understand why they do that. I don't know if they get paid by receiving phone calls, but I hope that they do get prosecuted. That's unfair, a sort of betrayal of trust and decieving the audience for them to make competitions are "real" as possible. I do hope that you already got over it, as these happens to each and everyone of us in any form.
Here in my country, there was a game show that have a pending criminal case which seemed to be forgotten. It was a year ago, when a stampede occured and killed 79 people. I don't know what happened to it, because the people who were involved are still walking freely and still hosting the show.
