Have you ever resigned from a job that you really liked because you couldn't work with your boss? What did he do that made you decide to leave? Are you sorry you left? would you go back if he/she wasn't there anymore?

Yes, I was one of the fools who resigned from a good job due to my boss. I tried starting my own business but it went down the drain after 11 months. Fortunately my ex-boss took a severance package and I was lucky to be re-appointed. It took me about 4 years to break even again but now I am settled again. The moral of the story? Never, but never let your boss "boss" you around. Do not make the same mistake I did. In retrospection, if I could have my life over, I would have dealt with the situation differently and would have taken him head-on.

No, I haven't yet. However, I'm to the point right now, that I'd like to. My present boss, is someone that I really like, (MOST OF THE TIME. But, she can also be the rudest person you ever met. There are 15 other managers where I work, and they all try as often as possible, not to come in to our office, when she's there, unless it's necessary. They also call and ask what kind of mood she's in before they come down, and if someone says, bad one, they wait. Everybody always remarks on how much nicer it is when she's not there, and they always say, they don't know how I can stand it in there with her. The funny thing is, when they hired for my position, not person from within the company wanted the job, and when they interviewed, they said they had to look for a certain kind of person, because they knew she'd be hard to please. Well, I've been there for almost 8 years, and to be honest, it's a wonder I'm not in a mental ward by now. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've had to put up with. She gets mad about stupid stuff that not one other person would care about. She is extremely jeoulous because I get along with everyone, and she don't.
