Looking for a soup recipe

My best friend makes this soup that I love and I'm hoping someone can help me find the recipe. My best friend refuses to give it to me, claiming she doesn't know it exactly either. I know that it comes from the Puerto Rican side of her family and I have a partial list of ingredients: sazon, adobo, manzanilla olives, capers, sofrito, rice, and chicken. I'm asking even if you have only a guess as to what this soup might be called or have a recipe for it, I'd love to try it. She lives in Ohio and I'm in Florida so I don't get the soup often and I'd really like to try making it myself.
