WHY DO YOU LOVE COFFEE OR BEER? I DONT LIKE THE 'NOT'so SWEET TASTE OF IT?

I am wondering why most people love to drink coffee or beer? i've tasted such kinds but its not really tasteful to drink.all of them taste the same which is a combination of sour or bitter taste and definitely they are not sweet. personally i dont like them because of their TASTE(it's not pallatable). i see most of my family member able to tolerate such kind of drinks.. beer for me is just like drinking your sanitary alcohol(isopropyl,rubbing, ethanol)that is somehow fermented while coffee is similar to a herbal plant that taste awful although it has distinct good aroma different to its unlikely taste...what about you? why do you love to drink such kind? do you like the taste? is it pallatable to you and able to tolerate it? do you just drink them because of the said effects of this drinks? or ther reasons?

I think it is not because of the taste but the way it reminds you of how you and friends start to gather. It also can relax you after a few drinks. Coffee is really an answer for my busy days. I get revived with the strong brew by just smelling the a fresh brew. I hope you get to enjoy some of this.

okay so its more on the unique taste of coffee than the bland taste. i know is a stimulant of the mind that's why it allows you to work more and focus more. i will try to like the coffee and see if it works for me just like how coffee works for you.thank you for responding jatamogue.
