What would the perfect downliner builder be?

If you are part of Yorgo or the Marketing Pond you know what a downlinebuilder is. What extra features would you like it to contain?

I really like the idea of downlinebuilder like Marketing Pond (MP), that's the fact why I'm here! I joint MP as your downline lately, and MyLot is one of the supported program in there. So, I'm your referral in many other programs listed in MP:) I do see possible improvements in MP: (1) A brief and straight forward introduction page -frankly speaking, I was confused when I first went into MP's introduction page (too lenghty). If not because I have read your forum before and understand how it works, I would have just left without signing up for MP. The point is: extra feature such as an icon/ navigation bar to bring us to the supported page would be great! like what Powerline Refer Club do (http://powerline.bushido.net/cgi-bin/ref.cgi/2104/). Perhaps, a simple diagram showing the methodology would also help! (2) To earn directly from MP - as most people tends to sign up if the reward is good. (3) We get to choose what programs we would like to introduce:) I know we are too greedy..haha Hopefully with all the above incorporated, it would be the best downlinebuilder ever!

Thanks it seems we have similar ideas about what it should incorporate. I guess having a way to set your own programs would actually kill the concept as your downline could change the programs so you wouldn't get any refs from it. What could be done is a default list with your own programs on top of the list of default programs, you could then give more own programs to pro members vs free members with a paid membership that earns you money throughout several levels.

Very good idea. I think you can make it so that if you want to add your programs to the list you need at least choose one program from either the default or uplines list, but it might be that the user is already member of one of these programs so they sign up but don't show up as your referral as they are already someone elses referral. It's not easy to force someone, I think the fact that you don't force someone is the power of a downlinebuilder. The user signs up and decide him/her-self to join or not join a program. This is what works as the user feels he/she is not forced into something. I think what would be good is if you could see if your upline has joined a program or not so you know he or she gets creditted for your signup

I see your first point. Apart from having the option to choose our preferred program lists, waht if imposing a rule whereby the new members need to sign up at least one or two of of the programs from default or upline preferred programs. At least it's not zero referrals right? Then it's their (downline) turn to select their preferred list to get their referrals. Yes, default and preferred list in one platform, with different privileges for Pro/ Paid members yet giving free members the opportunity to choose their preferred list too. You know, fee membership is the key that attracts members into one program.

Just joined the Pond a couple of days ago and have 29 in my downline already, but I would like the emails of our downline on the site and also a way to mass email out downline.

Well you have that in the pond. If you check you'll see at the right side in MP you can mail your downline once a week. I use that feature often. Also each time one signs up you get a mail with emailaddress of your downline. It's just a matter of adding them to your own mailinglist or emailcontacts. The problem by listing the emails directly in the MP is the use of spamming, that's why I think it's not a good idea to pass on emails directly on the site. Also if the site gets hacked all these emails are exposed. Emails or at least passwords on the site should be stored encrypted, so spamhackers can't do much with the data.

Cool. Yes I know it doesn't look like a very modern site but it still has good features.

Maybe being able to show which one's are your favorite sites. Like a star rating system, or being able to show your favorite programs at the topof the lists.
