Yesterday we were on our way to do some school shopping and a hornet flew in a window and landed on the baby. It stung him before I could get pulled over.
The spot on his arm where he got stung is only a little red and I don't think it's swollen (it's hard to tell with his pudgy little arms). This happened around 11:30 yesterday morning. He seemed to be fine the rest of the day and slept really well last night.
But this afternoon he started getting a low grade fever. I know it could be from a million other things...teething, any number of viruses...but I'm wondering if it could be a delayed reaction to the hornet sting? Anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?
I'm referring to my youngest by the way, almost 9 months old.
