Angels and Demons by Dan Brown

I had almost as good a laugh reading 'Angels & Demons' as I did reading the 'Da Vinci Code'. If you enjoyed the 'Da Vinci Code' then you will probably enjoy the prequel. A word of warning, though. As an experienced translater of ancient texts, and theology graduate, DO NOT BELIEVE a word of it as anything but a story. As with Da Vinci, an Brown has taken some well-known information, and twisted it into a completely false story, trying to make his assumptions sound reasonable. If you want to read a novel, then enjoy it. If you want to know more about the occult (hidden) aspects of Christianity you would be better of reading about Akhenhaten of Egypt, the Oxyrnyncus Scraps, and the Gnostic and Coptic Gospels and Texts. Whicheverroute you choose, enjoy yourself. All the best.
