how can anyone forget 9/11. the thousand of people that perished on that tragic day, it will be forever a reminder to all of us regardless where we are that there will always be a threat to our lives as long as there are people who believes that violence justify the means. sure we have to move on but to forget i don't think so. it will be forever be part of us just like the war, holocust etc.

We should allways remember what happened that day, we were all affected by it in some way even if we didnt loose someone. I remember were I was and what I was doing when I heard it was happening like it was yesterday and I remember the way that I felt at the moment too. noone ever said you have to listen.

Why do we keep talking about it? It is important to not forget such a horrible incident that occurred in the United States. There have been horrible incident's all around the world since the beginning of time. There is no doubt that September 11, 2001 is not the worst, yet, it is still one of the worst terror attacks which occurred on this country's soil in history. If we forget about it, if we become complacent like we were before 9-11 happened, then we will be hit again, and a lot worse, I might add. I am one to not forget history. I lost family in another horrible time in history, and that was World War II, during the Holocaust. I did not know that family, as I was obviously not born yet, but it is not a period of time that is to be forgotten by anyone. Lessons have to be learned from such incidents from people who call themselves peaceful people. What is peaceful about radical Islam? Absolutely nothing. I am one who will never forget what happened on 9-11 and we, as Americans, will have to retreat from complacency and really keep an eye on whatever is suspicious as terrorists want to hurt us and hurt us in a big way. All Americans were affected. The job that I had at the time of 9-11 required me to be extremely vigilant and report anything and everything that was even remotely suspicious. I hope that you understand that all of history should be remembered and not forgotten. When people do not understand this, then this leads to complacency and to the younger generation who will never get to learn about it all.

That's a cruel thing to say. Although many were not "personally" affected, we were ALL touched and affected in the sense that this was an attack on OUR country, our nation, our people. This is something that will never be forgetten or "gotten over". It's an event that will remain with us forever.
